When i was about 13 years old my mom had been sad cause my step father and my real father were in the marines and the Navy and she had not heard anything from dad and the mailman delivered our mail and one of the letters was from step father and the letter contained pictures of my step father laughing and in good spirits and i knew right then and there that's what i wanted to be and in December of 1988 i joined the USPS and in 2018 i retired i love bringing joy to people and being like part of the family and i enjoyed being a letter carrier i still keep in touch with my family so for me it was dream come true
