Need some inspiration
My job has been becoming more and more taxing. I’m just not sure what to do with it anymore. I feel like every day is the exact same, and think I need some help. Can anyone share some inspiration they go to when they need to find their creativity again?

I watch you-tubes of creative people for inspiration.

Have a heart to heart talk with your Creator. I do all the time, (even when the going is good). No body can listen or cares about you like He does. In fact he asks that you cast your cares upon him. As for me, I invite Him everyday to be part of my day before I even begin it. Find a copy of "Footprints in the Sand", read it slowly and from the heart. You will discover you are not alone, and what a inspiration that is...

Sarah, first, when is the last time you took a vacation? second, jobs are means to an end (car payment, rent or mortgage, etc), but are you working in your passion or gift? That's the question and only you can answer that. What really drives you? Jobs can never satisfy you when you are meant for something greater. We sometimes work jobs because we are afraid to jump out on faith to do what we know will help people more than our jobs. Your greatness is not in a mediocre job, it's in your passion...is it calling you?

Maybe it's time to move on and find other work?
I stagnated in my job several years back. I'm struggling finding a new job. I started writing a blog just to express some creativity again. It hasn't fixed the problem but does give me an outlet for the creativity my job lacks.

While I was working away from my family and home with often too much time to think I went to the bookstore and found a good self help related book called " the breakout principle " the gist of it was that all of us go thru a period whether we are in training or life in general where we seam to have reached a peak which we cannot shake or breakthrough but within us we have to power to do so simple by changing our perspective. A great example given was a famous basketball star could not seam to break thru his lul of not scoring 3 pointers. So he was advised to take his mind off of this by taking classes in basket weeving. He did and went on to achieve an all time high season. Change your perspective whatever takes your thought away from the current situations troubling you but don't confuse this with life responsibilities of course!

Quit and find another one.

I would like to advise all my fellow human beings to be sure about only doing things you love. So that when it has its taxing moments you have the huge advantage of love to get you through it.

Hi Sarah, Every day do one thing that gives Sarah happiness. Doesn't have to be complex; could be a walk, a favorite ice cream, etc.
Now if you have a taxing job first mentally relax about it and accept that it is difficult. Look for opportunities to make it less stressful. Ultimately get a less stressful job if it's too much, but don't quit until you find a better job.
Finally, at home listen to music that relaxes you. For me, it's listening to "peaceful piano" on Spotify while going for a walk.
Best Frank

And a little different from Clara's "thinking outside the box," here's one I actually use to get me out of my head
Kill the boss, rob a bank and flee to a non extraditing country@ That ought to shake things up!
