Struggling to get a design/marketing job with a Bachelor's in Graphic Design
I have a Bachelor's Degree, 2015, in Graphic Design from Colorado State University, and have been searching for either an internship, or a position in which to utilize my design skills for 2 years since graduation. I have worked in a couple of contract art and sign positions, and a lighting design role, as well as freelance projects, but I submit resume after resume and rarely get a callback. I am totally puzzled as to what to do now and how to proceed. Can anyone advise? Thank you for any help!

Unfortunately the Graphic Design field is EXTREMELY competitive and I've known people who don't get jobs for years after they graduate. The field has so many people in it, and there aren't enough jobs because most of them don't leave once they get them. My advice would be to look around on LinkedIn and Indeed, keep building your portfolio, maybe look into some additional classes for web based design as well so you have some flexibility, take as many freelance jobs as possible, and keep trying. In the meantime, try for a job outside your field to keep you going until you land the one you want.

Go to the unemployment office ( if they still exist) and ask if the WIA program is still in existence cuz I think WIA can assist u with an OJT ( on the job training). Also call your school ( if u still reside or if u do) and ask if they assist with job placement or if they ever host mixers that help employers meet with potential employees.
U r welcome.... Pray and ask God for guidance
