update...

As many of you know, I lost my job back on September 29th due to the company closing its doors. None of us really understood why, but all suspected that it would happen someday. I had been interviewing and rather quickly, I was offered a job at Ebates here in Wisconsin, near my home. Very very close to my home. I started there exactly one month after ServiCom let me go. I am truly blessed. it is a great company to work for. If you haven't heard of Ebates, check out their website. I know God had a hand in all of it. Have a great day all. Incidentally, this is a contract position not a direct hire. They have a specific culture that they want to continue so they are looking for people that fit that. So it will be 5 months before they hire me on. For me, it will be worth the wait to see if I can permanently work for this amazing company that really cares about their employees. Update to the update... Ebates let me go today. Please send prayers my way. Thank you. Not a bad company to work for. I just didn't have enough time to get acclimated and do the job well and quickly for the holiday season.

There is so much to learn and God is my witness, I am trying. But unfortunately, I started so late that I need to be up to "speed" before weeks end or they are going to let me go. I know that if I would have started earlier like Sept I would have a better grip on things. But the holiday season is fast approaching and I just don't know. Please pray that everything works out. Whatever the outcome. Thanks. Incidentally, this is causing much unnecessary anxiety.

Hi Robin Wait , I remember when you posted about your job loss with ServiCom but almost immediately or within few short weeks you landed this new opportunity at Ebates. I'm so happy to hear thing are working out for you there. Sounds like you'll be a permanent employee in not time.
