Help with a Crash Course

There’s a major auto manufacturer recruiting assemblers for a new factory but I have absolutely no manufacturing experience. It’s the only company offering good pay and benefits. I have a family to take care of now so minimum wage retail jobs are not an option for me any more. Should I do something special with my resume or is there a short training course I can take somewhere to get certified?

Hi Ryan, In the manufacturing environment, you just need follow the instructions in the shop order and learn to read blueprints (drawings). Everything will take care itself. Stay focus! Good luck.

Depending on the field your previously work in, it can help leverage your non experience as assembler. One option is to compare your resume to an assemblers resume and see what skills you can add.
