Desperately in need some advice on how to get out of the min wage trap
15 years of working entry level retail, customer service, and manufacturing jobs and I desperately need to make a change. How can I get out from the min wage trap without a degree?

Hey Leonard, it sounds like you need to take a chance and apply for jobs that are more senior than the roles you're currently in. You have a decent amount of time under your belt - that shouldn't count for nothing. If you don't want to apply for new jobs, it may be time to have a talk with your supervisor or manager about what you can do next. Joshua's advice is awesome here - don't be afraid to ask for training opportunities or even an overdue promotion.
Remember, you set your own worth!

I hear ya Leonard cause I'm kinda in the same place. Look for jobs with companies that train and promote from within and let them know your interested in supervising and management right away. Ask a about tuition benefits and use them to get your degree while you work and then you can qualify for the bigger jobs. Stay focused though because it's a process that doesn't happen overnight but doable.
Learn skills that translate into $$. Look at job descriptions of jobs you aspire to have and volunteer or take courses to develop the skills you identified.
