Hello Naenae Bell, It's always great to see a young person that has the maturity, fortitude and desire to get a job and work. I started myself around the same age as you. And let me tell you, I haven't stopped working since. It's been over 33 jobs from fast food to corporate work as an executive to owning my own business. I'm telling you this, because I want you to know that work is something that is very much part of life. You will most likely find yourself one day very much devoting a large amount of your time, energy, focus and thought to your job for many years (decades) of your life.

Naenae, I'm not trying to scare you. I just want you to enjoy your place in life at the age you are at. Take advantage of all that youth has to offer to learn as much as you can, to find out who you are, what you like, what makes you happy, what moves you, angers you, drives you, who do you admire and why, what foods do you want to try, where do you want to travel to, what do you believe, what kind of person do you want to be and so much more interesting and incredible questions, choices and options to discover.

Take time to consider whether having a job is going to help you or hinder your unique opportunities to experience and enjoy life as a young lady.

Whatever you choose to do and which ever direction you want to take, use good judgement, listen to the counsel of older ones (I know they can be a real pain sometimes, but they love you and want what's best for you), follow your belief, stay true to yourself and follow you heart.
