Employers that discriminate against ex convicts. Without worries of any thing coming back on them. "Fire" at will.
I just read about someone that got fired when his boss over heard him talking about his experience in prison with covid 19.
What happened to free speech? Is making light or kidding around all of a sudden the wrong thing? Or is that only for some people? Or when certain situations/words are spoken like prison, or covid? Employers gotta stop putting on that second personality in the work place. Stop the persecution of regular people ( which is the work force). If it looks different it probably is so what! The works getting done people are on time there shouldn't be any question that couldnt be satisfied just by asking it.

I've had experience where someone told my boss about a criminal charge 15 yrs ago and I got fired and past 4 jobs give or take same thing happens or I get hired before background check returns....its really defeating and frustrating
Yes that's the worst starting a "conditional position". Meaning if anything come bck they dont like of they don' t like u then they pull the rug right from under you . Then what your stuck with a complex and no job and confidence you once had is out the window.. But what I really want to say . That these are repercussions that come with the mistakes we made . And there is a light at the end of tunnel it called getting your stuff sealed ..Move forward. If GOD wanted you at the job thats where youll be ..Stay positive ..good luck
