Also, I wouldn't write off temp agencies. They actually don't take your money! I worked through a couple and they just find jobs for you that may vary in length. The company you go to work at actually has to pay the agency for finding you, so it's not a cost from you. It's actually something I highly suggest since it's a great way to gain experience!
