I just recently taken a full time job working for a hotel job. I didnt get the salary i wanted so im stuck cause i receive no other job offers. Right im totally baffle cause i was looking to hear back from some other companies that would offer me more money sense i have a family now. All i desire is a good job that pays well and allow me to have my sundays off.

You mentioned graphic design and five years of experience. I assume that the five years were in the aforementioned profession. How long ago? One of the things companies look at is how recent your job was within that field. If you've been out of the field for a year or more, especially in this field, your skill base may not be considered current. Consider taking a few additional classes to bring you up to date, if you already haven't. Another option is to start your own small business. Talk to your local Small Business Development Center, normally at your local university. There's also lots of information on the SBA website and don't overlook SCORE who can provide you guidance. There are also grants that can help with the seed money you'll need to get started. One of the advantages you have is that you can provide your services right from home. Little overhead and projects can be provided right over the internet. Good luck and hope works out for you.
