Overwhelmed.
I must say working for s3 safety services, was a nightmare! The first day I worked they supervisor Denise did not give me not 1 break, during a twelve hour shift. My coworkers told me to speak up, but I felt she already knew I didn't have a break because she would continuously stare at me. I am not the one for confrontation. So I just soaked it up. I signed up to be a event staff but I was more like doing nothing but security work. I worked and worked, even on my golden birthday.and I must say the day I worked on July 23 2016 was a night mare. It was raining so bad and it were a lot of lose cords laying around in a thunderstorm. I just have to say. They want to save money and have you doing security work. Which is very different what you sign up for. They don't want to pay real security officers. They want to pay you Event's staff wage for security work. For hours. One day I was doing security work for the lallapalooza I had to guard a huge stage, without giving a hard hat. Where the construction workers were building a stage. And it was a lot of electronics and it start raining that day! Some people passing by made me feel crazy by telling me I shouldn't be around the construction without out any safety. Overall they then fired me due to my daughter have sicko cell. And I just couldn't make it for 3 days. I just think they don't care about they employees.
That sounds awful! Sorry you've had to deal with that at your job.
