I just moved to ND from NY in November. I was told by family.to come out and make money in the oil business. Even though it wasn't booming as it was years ago it was still lucrative. I had a jobined up, I'd stay with family until my wife and I found a place, etc. Like all things that seem to go to be true, it was. I got to ND on the 2nd of November and was.told nobody was ready for me, the job I had lined up dried up, and now I was forced to job hunt while now behind on bills. I found work at Bell Supply Company, because my aunt via marriage was the manager their basically. Shortly after got an apartment in Dickinson. So I had to commute 40 minutes daily. It was very apparent that the management didnt care to do much beside dictate work and be lazy. After 4 months of work and only missing 5 days due to a severe upper respiratory infection i was let go for literally no good reason. I was told that it didnt work out as expected and it was slow. I've been nothing but let down since I got to ND. All I can say is thank God my wife is super supportive and doing well in her job.
