need feedback on situation. does this fall under discrimination? The company i work for has the option of working from home under the discretion of the manager based on your performance. Things have changed in the work area and had caused productivity to drop beyond the requirements. i was told that my privileges were revoked since my productivity has fallen below the required level. There were several other people in my department were not given the "ok" to work from home as they were new to the department. As weather got bad, my department leader call each employee into the office to tell them it would be safer to work from home in bad weather , therefore giving them the approval. I was not given that opportunity or option to work from home on inclement weather. I am the only one who was not given the ok from our department manager/ director to work from home. Does this fall under discrimination?
