OUCH Sherri! He really should have supported you more in this endeavor. Did you know there was a behavior issue in this case? As a past educator I know that this takes special training and certification, particularly restraint training if the child is a danger to themselves or others. Perhaps she was just having a bad day, but plastic toys definitely hurt! I am glad you are ok! I would keep looking for other positions and don't take that one personally.
