Employment in a hospital

How hard is it to get a position in a hospital or clinic? I know there are several openings for patient registration or patient service representative. I have interviewed over the phone with a hospital recruiter and went in a face to face interview. But still get the met qualifications but found a more qualified person. I think they may fill the position from within but has to post the position locally on website. Anyone work in the hospital services department.

Persistence and networking are key into getting into the hospital field. You can call to followup on the status of your application, you can email a director of a specific department explaining your interest in that specific department and the hospital, and lastly go to healthcare networking events. Try volunteering at a hospital first or you can find a temp agency that specialize in the medical field.
