Honesty isn't always the Best Policy

This is what keeps happening every time I try to be truthful and honest with my answers. If there no right and wrong answers then how come I can’t qualify for the job? FedEx, Walmart, and other companies supposedly hiring right now have these online assessments on job application that claim to encourage applicants to respond honestly without leaning answers towards what management would expect only to deny my application because I don’t meet their exam or assessment criteria. I’m I better off just lying? What’s the purpose of these tests if people can manipulate their way into a job?

Wayne, That’s happened to me couple of time as well. I just changed up my answers to qualify and can see my application is being looked at but nobody’s called me back on the job.

No 1 person checks those assessments. They are all auto corrected and classified so don’t take it personally. Re-apply and test again because sometimes it takes more than 1 try to get passed the robot.

I don’t agree. Honesty is always the best policy especially when it has to do with all things related to a job. It’s a shame more and more companies are relying on this testing policy to qualify applicants for a job.
