Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Reno Tahoe Therapy Group

My job changed during the pandemic...

Since my old job has been phased out due to COVID 19, I have found it very difficult go find employment as Certfied Occupational Therapy Assistant. The jobs being offered ate few and far between. Even with 18 years experience, the amount of applications, increases the difficulty in finding a job in my area. I continue to attempt to find gainful employment in my field in my area and won't stop until I do.

Physical Therapist Assistant

I'm a PTA in the same position. We can't work autonomously as we have to work under a therapist’s license. I'm only 5 yrs in, but with my array of skills, I think hiring managers think its better to hire new grads. Doesn't help it was a career change after 16 years in education. I can't, and won't, go back to that because I can't get my expired license back...too long.
