You should focus on school. Although it seems like your time in school drags on and will never end, believe me it’s a drop in the bucket compared with 50 years of working. Start thinking not of jobs, but of making money (that is what people work for). Do you have any craft hobbies or skills where you can create things to sell? Are you inclined enough to use a lawn mower and cut grass during the summer? Browse craft stores, flea markets, and keep an eye on what others are doing on their own to make money. Before you know it, you’ll be making money and hiring others to work for you instead of constantly searching for that better job (believe me it doesn’t exist)!

You cannot work until you are 16 years old. You also need a permit from your school to work. Both your school and employee have to sign, you also. Sorry kid that is the law. This will include summer time too.

Since most of friends have jobs, you should them if their jobs are hiring.You might need a workers permit to work during the school year.
