Yes Sir if you can start your on business. If not join a company, learn the game, in a year so strike out on your on. But do your home work first. It can lead to a profitable business.

Let's face it! Be considerate of people with allergies.

Place the bucket ahead of you and keep it on the move...

Keshawn...I would ask for a meeting with your direct manager about your career growth. Let him/her know that you are interested in moving into a next level from janitorial duties and ask wht he might suggest you do to qualify for another position. If the manager gets put off, it is because some managers do not prioritize assisting their team to grow because then they need to replace them...if this is the result you get, go to HR and ask for a meeting about career growth.
I see people move from janitorial service "doer" to managing a team of "doers". Also, see if they have facilities management which would also be a good next step.
And, if you look into procurement/supply chain as a profession, you may need sone courses/training, but that - would also be a good next step.
you probably see more things wrong around the buisness than anyone else, you know, things needing maintenance and the like. I would find value in someone reporting these things in a proactive manner rather than waiting until it breaks and be in a reactive emergency to get it fixed. So that is something you might be able to do that would not be too time consuming.
