Working in a place surrounded by 2 individuals n the rest very young, I guess they felt intimidated once they saw my skills. Especially when you're working on a place that the owners or boss are not there to see what's going on.

No matter your age...if you are treating people with kindness& respect then your doing a good job. If you are unhappy or if it's time to retire then either quit or retire. Otherwise if you have wrinkles around your eyes you have earned by smiling even if you have a mask on! Just do your best no matter the age! Otherwise take it to a higher boss& give them an Ear full! Nobody has time for that!

It wasnt age with me 31 years on field it was intimidating factors people didnt like someone with less qualifications and when someone close in your field doesnt like you 31 years later history speaks for itself then thru years small fish in pond jumps on the band wagon you've heard saying cant fight city hall well there ya go just remember what you stand for and no matter how much bad it causes you just stay true to yourself

I didn't have to face that and if I would of I would of still been humble n kind.

With extensive vocabulary to prove that I obtained and possess the proper and appropriate education and credentials that I needed to fill the position whilst they are being served by ME with my polite, professional, and friendly customer service

You show them that age doesn't matter but how mature you are at your job and your work ethic. If they still do that, its probably because they are intimidated by you because of your age and your way of doing things better.

I did not experience age discrimination, I was a lot younger then, but I did not see or hear of anyone dealing with it either.

Although, I have not been considered for certain jobs because of my age.

I have never experienced this..
When I was a receptionist there was no age discrimination. If you could do the job nothing else could be said.
