Fired due due police.
I was let go from my job due police calling my place of work trying to say I stole meds they found in my home in a biohazard. They were in my home due to an argument with my teenage son and they have almost ruined me. I know this is probably not the place but I have to vent. Don't call police if you don't have to your rep is in their hands . If I could due I would. The most crucial time for this to happen and I loved my job but will not be allowed to work for humans again. Sheriff's called my place of work on their accusation..i have never stolen meds from anyone. I'm not allowed to work for thus huge insurance company again. I don't want to work in nursing home ..i loved my case management. I have done nothing but suffer.ober this last year..if thus post causes too much strife I will withdraw. I just can't move on since this occurance..UNBILIEVABLE..i can't believe police would do such a thing...
It depends on your state but I am a certified Pharmacy Technician and am finishing Pharm D if drugs were found in my home my certification would be pulled as its a zero tolerance issue. I work for the county and certain infractions are reported to us legally by police because they are obligated too. I know an instance where one of county health workers was let go due to a similar situation she couldn't prove where the medications came from that were found so unfortunately it means she lost her job and her license. I understand it is easy to blame the people that found the drugs in your home I instead would be angry with the person who brought drugs into your home putting you and your family at risk because its on them the police have no choice but to report certain things if they don't they face their own consequences.

Correction on spelling..i can't believe I won't be able to work for this instance company again. If I could I would do this over and not let police in my home and I was stupid enough to give them my boss's phone number. They took advantage of my trust..i mean for God sake I'm in my fifties...and always had a clean record. Now I get back to my case management..
