Suggest doing research to create a list of Scottsdale area companies who might need your skills. Then: talk to friends to see if you know someone who works for one of these and contact these companies directly. Most jobs are not advertised so contact directly or through friends should work. Good luck

I moved to Tucson for a job working in medical marijuana after living in nyc my entire life. The laws their regarding dui are absolutely draconian. My friend was carrying two guns in his car- cop gave him the guns back but made him park the car. Being from nyc this is so alien to me. They sell hard liquor at circle k gas stations. Never going back; as beautiful as it is. Never even had a speeding ticket in my 37 yrs on this earth.

Friends, relatives, associates can help with the transition. If you don't know anyone get in a meetup group or an events and adventures group, anything online to increase your exposure to your new digs. Good luck

ZipRecruiter is touted as one of the fastest ways to find a job in a specific area. However, I would also recommend that you consider using a "headhunter" as well. Headhunters are people who act on behalf of companies looking for potential staff with a specific skill set. Lastly, consider contingency workforce positions through a temporary agency. Temporary positions can get you through a pinch until you can find something more permanent. Temp positions can also sometimes lead to permanent positions as well. It just depends on what the employer is looking for long term.
