Tammy, Kmart and Sears are now owned by the same holding company; check to wee if you can transfer to a Sears location. While I don't know about the availability of Sears outlets in your area; this would at least be a place to start: and, since Sears, now owns Kmart; you may have an easier time getting into some positions with them. Good luck.

Look into seasonal work to get you through the holidays. I have read multiple newspaper articles of companies such as UPS and Amazon that are desperate for people. I am have read of these companies offering flexible and even shorter shifts in an effort to attract workers for the holiday season.
