Coperate Headhunter

So after posting my resume on Monster I was called by a coperate headhunter (theres nothing coperate about my background, they claim it's because my military service that they contaced me)... Now I have alot of experiance being 49 (as many know getting harder to find a job at that age) so went to a free consultation. Supposedly the have been working in this place for 10 years but there are very few comments out there (other than the ones on thier website). They havent quoted a price for services yet but im thinking (by reading articles) they will be wanting a few thousand with no gurentee... I know, if it quacks like a duck.... But if they HAVE been in business for 10 years and if bogus you would think they would have been shut down... Just wondering if I should even bother with the second meeting...???

Hi Stephen: Thanks for posting to Jobcase! I would be careful here - corporate headhunters will NEVER charge the jobseeker. Instead, they charge their clients, the employers, for their services. They work for certain companies to match open positions to highly talented candidates. If these people do attempt to charge you, run in the other direction, because it's a scam.
