Frustrated in Oklahoma
I interviewed for a job last week and she offered me the job. Supposed to start Monday. I get an email from the staffing company today that states they decided to go with another candidate. I am so frustrated.
Staffing agencies can be so cruel I had one and I literally cried nothing nice !

That's so dang unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate the way companies do their business these days. In the old days if you weren't selected for a job you got a phone call or a letter or both. Now you either get an email or nothing at all.
Is it a "staffing agency" Or do you mean like HR dept at a company? If it is a staffing agency i guess it is good to get experience anywhere, especially if it os a place you may possibly want to stay long term. I didnt have much luck at agenxies honesly and I worked with ome for over a year haveinf no idea they wrre taking 5$ an hour out of what my salary should of been. But thougj I will say the staffing agency work, helped prepare me for another job I was at for a another year until they laid me off, but that got me into Safeway it is literslly the easiest job I jave ever had and they pay 20$ an hour start up to 29.50$ after 3 years. Idk if there is an Albertsons (safeway) or C@s near you bur worth looking into!

That's wrong you can't do that to people. They probably hired someone they knew.
I would make sure to write a really nasty review about said, staffing agency. That is immoral and unethical, imo. Bad reviews, reflect who goes to them next.
