The good ole' days
My dad worked for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company as a route salesman way back in 1963. He was very proud of his employment there and the product. He actually seemed upset when he saw a person drinking anything else. I still have his Coca-Cola cap and uniforms he wore while working there and I won't ever get rid of them. Every time Coke comes out with a new flavor I always want to tell him about it. He loved his time there.

Awww ! What a great story!!!! I loved it !

That story indeed holds sentimental value. A treasure for life.

You should send a picture and note to Coca Cola. There are people within organizations who are interested in stories like yours! It is very heartwarming!

MyvDad was an OVER the road driver also...I still have his pins from his safe driving awards..We will always keep reminders of our father's.

Your family must have been real proud to have someone like that

I always preferred Coke over Pepsi.Your dad would had been thrilled and amazed by how Coke has transformed over the years.

Hurray! Coke

That's nice that you were able to save that piece of your father. I wonder if he would like all the new stuff they are coming out with. I am a cherry coke fan ALL the way always will be!!!

What a sweet story!
I was born during that era, it was definitely The Good Olde Days. I remember when Coke came in those green bottles, still have one I found at a gas station on a road trip. Sounds like your dad had The Best Job Ever !. I would definitely keep all his old uniforms for memories. :)
