What experience do I need to be hired as a Line Cook?

On the job training. And don't overreact to stress staying focused on what your doing. Every line cook was once a beginner.

None. You don't evenneed prior experience. You just need to be a good learner, don't take criticism personally, and not be total ditz. (i.e. don't have to constantly be reminded what you're doing and.or what the 'all day' is).
As an inexperienced cook and uncertified too chances are that you will put somewhere on the end of the line which usually deals more with cold stuff (salads, wraps, etc.) and timing (fryers).

All the previous answers were correct, we all had to start somewhere. We were all beginners once! Just try not to get overwhelmed by long ticket times…what we call “in the weeds” your coworkers will help you if you’re serious about learning. Being a part of a team that works well together like a finely tuned engine is what makes a good kitchen staff. If you’re quick and like to work with your hands you’ll be fine. Oh yeah and always remember when sending out a dish…”would I eat this? Does it look pretty on the plate? Appetizing? If yes send her on out and start your next order! Good luck!!
Know how to set up for service, know the menu,be on time work well with others.
