I need someone to write back and forth to about problems in getting work
I have had a problem my whole life in procrastination. I've been very bright and talented and fairly well educated but I have avoided generally doing things with my mind outside of school to help myself in a serious way. Right now I intend to create a small business but, as in the past, I am procrastinating. Oh, I move forth a little bit every single day (I read "Minihabits" by Stephen Guise), but I really need to move a lot more to achieve what I really want, or so I believe. I would like one or two folks here who would like to correspond with me via private email about what we are doing from day to day to achieve what we want. I'm just talking about talking with one another. Not necessarily advising each other. Just listening and accepting each other as fellow human beings who, despite all of our flaws, are acting virtuously at this moment in trying to be more conscious of ourselves and our lives. I would really value that. I'm at mikerael30@yahoo.com I hope to hear from someone or perhaps more than one. In any case, best to all, Mike mikerael30@yahoo.com
Procrastination stems from fear of rejection or even the fear of stepping out your comfort zone. One thing that has helped me is the reminder, that we as humans are constantly changing, everyone starts off learning how to walk when their a baby. Some people start walking at 8 months others are at 1 years old, but at the end of day you took that step. Remember, failure is just a lesson, but it's not a stopping point.
