Something is wrong with this company

So I have been applying for this big healthy insurance company in Tampa. I have applied for three jobs. Based on my experience, I should be more than qualified for them. I keep getting letters saying that after careful consideration they have decided not to move my application forward. The third job I applied for - it only took them an hour and a half to carefully consider my application. The company has a separate question near that will ask you specifically if anyone ever worked for the government agency I worked for in the past. Could that be the reason (that they are audited by my agency every so often) - I am not being considered? Is this legal?

If you're applying with a big or national insurance company then most likely they have some kind of automated application evaluation system or algorithm that’s not accurately qualifying your application. Big companies set up these programs because of the high volume of application they receive for each job posting. Take another look at the requirements on job description and compare it to your resume/application. Make sure your experience is a match to the keywords on the job description and update your resume then re-apply. I had the same issue with a big utility company I was looking to get into. It took me multiple resume changes and three months of applying but I finally got in.
