Recruiters
I've been looking for a job as an administrative assistant in Chicago. I went to seven recruiters and they all said my resume was excellent and I had great experience. They all said they'd share my resume with their colleagues and let me know what was available for me to interview. None of them called me back! Not a single one! And when I call them I get voice mail and they never return my calls. WTF is going on? Do they get commission for applicants walking through the door? They must not get commission for placing candidates, because none of them seems interested in placing me and my "excellent experience".

I would say just keep trying to contact them. Sometimes you just gotta stay on them.

...Maree....don't get so 'Huffy' about one company---plenty of Fish in de Sea....you'll undoubtedly encounter many responses like this, and you have to show your Mettle & Steely persistence...I like a woman who swears, but realize Potential employers look at these Boards...you look de Part, have de Qualifications---but talk like a Sailor...it WILL slip out in a lengthy interview--and thar goes yur pretty Head...rollin' out de Door......just sayin'......( but I am expecting a Harsh reply )...
