Hey Joanne, I'm so sorry to hear about your manager. Did you have sick time available? Was it a verbal threat or did she write you up (corrective action)? In either case I think is was handled incorrectly if you feel like you were threatened after the conversation. Know your right and what your entitled too as an employee and make sure you stick to those guidelines.

But think about yourself. Is it in your best interest to get fired by her?

If not you should talk to upper management about this.

But if you don't like your job to begin with, maybe try to look for another job.
