I got two jobs and it's still not enough? Is it me?

Job 1 used to be great when I started, then they stopped scheduling me because things died down at the restaurant. I got a second job to see if it would be better, well they barely put me on either. This is not enough with everything so expensive. Is it me? Why am I not getting enough hours? What should I do? #advice

Everything is more expensive thanks to the new economy. Pay is not increasing.

You should sit down in a meeting with your supervisor or shift supervisor and ask "Why?". Be reasonable because you are likely to hear things you didn't even know about or hadn't thought about, but go over the schedule, your hours, their expectations or difficulties, and yours. Make your position clear and ask, not demand, the reason for shortening your hours. If it's something you can fix, fix it. If not, well, there are other jobs out there somewhere. Start looking.

Maybe a work from home job. With gas prices so high people can’t afford to go out so many businesses are not doing well.
