I felt thankful for when I left that job/Company.
This location was truly the most unpleasant place I worked in 30 + years of post university employment. Soiled, dirty, urine sticky floors, many things in disrepair and broken. Crude and low functioning management, married NHA spending way to much time with young women behind closed doors, unless he is watching then walk away down the hall. Social worker with out a clue as to her job, physically and mentally not capable to work 40 a week, "Activities Director" out right dangerous to residents by not being able to understand or follow safety instruction. DON screams down the hall at employees, always looking for ways to fire co-workers instead of train them, she is fueled by gossip and ruled by a select collection of dysfunctional LPN/CNA. Actual resident care issues are lost.
Goodness, it sounds like you made a great decision by leaving that job, @Randall Bliss ! I hope you've found a better work environment since!
