When you submit your application, it gets sent in to an inbox with everyone else who sent one. I would recommend following up your application with a phone call (or email) a few days after you apply. The point of this call is to reinforce your name in the mind of the hiring manager, and show that you are serious and determined about wanting the job.

You'll know you get accepted when they call or email you back telling you to come in for an interview or that you are hired. From there, try hard every day and ask questions to learn more about it. Good luck - I'm positive you will do great!
