Appreciated
Been with my company for 35 years and they continue to take away commissions away and I no longer feel appreciated after 35 years of dedication.

It's time to move on!! If you have a strong customer base it will follow you. That would put you in a good position to talk commission to a new employer. The best in your new search...

Hello Phillips, Congratulations on your 35 years of company service. Your still moving forward, because you have a job. Your experience & skills keep you there. You have income security. Many companies these days decrease benefits & increase profits to stay alive. God has Blessed you in having a job for 35 years. And taken you much further than you were then. Be CONTENT in where you are Today. Don't just complain about something, Pray On It. And see where God takes you in the FUTURE. My Best to you Brother.

This is a more and more common thread, those who have shown dedication are taken advantage of. Especially the older ones who they know will have a hard time finding a new job and have the most to lose. I wish you the best. Good Luck

After 35 years I think I would find another job or retire. I see it everyday in the construction field.

Side note:. If you feel like you're being discriminated against, contact the EEOC. Age discrimination is a norm in some companies but it is against the law. Good luck.

Phillips, I can relate to your problem and I'm sorry you are being treated this way. Have you tried talking to management? After all, 35 years at one company is a great run. Good Luck!

Unless you tell me if you get salary plus commission or you only receive 1099 income I can't answer good luck

Phillips I no what you mean. I hate when they do that to anyone. Make us don't want to work anymore. But we need food on the table. You figure they give you extra for working 35 years. But no. I wish I have a solution but I don't sorry. I wish you all the best and hope something good come up

Take what you know and let it show...35 years you have great worth...in my personal opinion it's there lost not yours.
So what?
