A little concerned after my phone interview
So I had my phone interview with Duke Energy today. The gentleman I spoke with was patient and asked all the proper questions. I felt I did pretty good then he said something that shocked me.
He said (and I'm paraphrasing) for this position we only conduct the phone interview then notify you on the same day if you were given the position.
I dont know what to make of that since from what I have read indicates that they also do a walk-in interview if you pass the phone interview first.
Should I be concerned?

Pushing is a growing concern for candidates. The scammers even set up web pages, etc they then ask you to fill out a questionnaire . Careful what you give recruiters regarding personal information.

That's difficult to answer. He did say "For this position..." which seems to indicate that the standard operating procedure of an in-person interview doesn't apply for this job. However, that seems odd to me. Having been a hiring manager, unless I never planned on seeing you, I would want to meet you in person.
I've been through the same situation. You have to stay positive and keep applying at other companies. Make them compete for you to want to work for them. You will succeed and they may realize they made a mistake and someone else didn't and gave you a career opportunity that they should have. Stay positive!
