Im a convicted felon. I go on job search sites like these because of the supposed felon friendly employers on here. I get called for interviews. Then comes the issue of background checks. And im either pretty much shown the door, or if i make it as far as hiring process with w4s and given a schedual, im dismissed before i even get to start because of background check. Its one thing to not be hired after interview. That part i can and do live with. But making it to orientation and being let go? And if i may add again they're supposedly felon friendly employers. Is there anyone else on here with same issues? That so called ban the box just gets me farther into process and being denied employment. And please dont advise me to look into jobs for felons hub. Been there done that too
