Daunting Hiring Venue
Those hiring fairs are way too daunting. There must have been more than 300 people lined up to apply for the same job at the event I went to last week. That’s way too many people competing for the same job. Anyone have any strategies how to get to the top of the list at these venues?

Dress Professionally and be prepared to talk about how you can contribute to the success of the company. I’ve seen people show up to job fairs in shorts and sandals. Not an attention getting solution.

Research the companies attending and find out what positions they will be there recruiting. Position yourself to speak to those jobs only.
