Ironworker in Alaska
Have interview in a couple hours and very anxious about it and well don't know what a starting wage is. Anyone working or worked before I could use the insite. Cuz there offer was low from what I looked up. 13.00 hourly

No fuck no, i live in Texas. Start tomorrow direct hire with full benefits. 16.50 an hour.

A little late but I would say if you're going to ask for more than the figure they're offering you should know if bargaining is something you can do, and I wouldn't do it until they express explicit interest in actually hire you. So when you get an offer of employment from the hiring manager or HR is when you would typically bring it up, not before. When you do, I would express that you're interested in the position, however the pay is an obstacle due to your current expenses. Work out a figure that would work for you comfortable and present that as an alternative. Be aware that they can withdraw an offer at any time and if they absolutely don't want to or can't raise the pay they will push back. Just maintain your cool and do what's best for you.

Hello I need some help please
Iron workers generally make great money. If you are a beginner you will probably be at entry level pay. I hope this helps stay safe because the job can be dangerous. Good luck...
