Bay Brown AAS,

Graduated from college still have not found employment been posting resumes like crazy getting no response. I still haven't taken my state exam which will give me a plus with employers because of the cost for the exam which was not included in my tuition, therefore I cannot afford it at this time with no job. Only experience is internship and I'm getting frustrated

Shavon,

Keep your eyes on your goal. A part time job or two to raise the funds you need so you can get to where you want to be is a small price to pay. Besides how much fun will the story of your journey be when you can say burgers, fries and super size got me to where I am today. :-)

Stay positive and keep at the grind until it your time to shine.

Hi Shavon: Thanks for posting to Jobcase - I'm sorry you're going through this right now. Is there any way you can get the cost of taking the test waived? I know that with a lot of state exams, if you can prove financial hardship, they'll waive the fee. Also, have you been following up on your applications? Try calling employers to see if they've received them - it's a great way to let them know you're excited about the job opportunity!
