How to address someone with a known name and unknown gender in job application?

Thanks for this posting, but I'm not sure of the relevance regarding job applications. As a rule it is okay to address a cover letter to the "talent acquisition team" since you may not have a name.

As a member of the Trans community, I personally prefer people asking what pronouns I prefer. While this isn't true of all of us, it is for most of us because we may or may not "pass", or look like our self-identified gender for a number of reasons, to include:

We just began our transition. We can't afford ior don't want/can't have hormone therapy. We can't afford/don't want/can't have gender-related surgeries. Some of us don't identify as any ONE gender. I'm agendered, meaning I don't identify as ANY gender.

Basically, when in doubt, find out. If you're respectful and polite about it, very few of us will mind you asking. In fact, most of us will actually APPRECIATE it.
