Don't give up. Our faith do get tested .believe in yourself and keep putting in apps. And put everything in God's hands. And just know God will answer your prayers.... Don't let no challenge make you feel less than a man.

Your welcome. Remember this when life pulls you down think of a eagle they fly above the storm.when the the chicken can not fly they stay pecking the ground. The eagles sorrow high above the clouds. Storms dont last .We go through some rough and tough times. It's just a test of our faith.

Let me tell you a little about my background. I am a CNA and a single mom of 4 kids at the time, I worked agency for 4 years until one day this company brought my contract they paid my agency $10,000 for me to work at that facility. One year working for this company I contacted MRSA for a patient. It took 18 months for me to get back my health and that time I was out of work, homeless for 3 years, lost my car. Nobody would hire me. I made sure my kids graduated high school still homeless. That was 8 years ago. I started praying and meditating and visualizing me working back as a CNA now I travel as a CNA I have a place to live and 2 cars and a good husband and 14 grandchildren. God is real believe in him whole heartedly.

I am 35 years old and going through the same thing. It’s been very hard to get my emails to go through and my phone calls either. I have been an electrical superintendent for a very long time. I have successfully completed multi-million dollar projects on time and under budget. I think that it is gods way of telling us we need to re-evaluate our careers and do what he intended. I am grateful for a roof over my head. You will find a better job opportunity that will satisfy your soul and make plenty of money to support your needs. We just need to have faith in gods plan. Good luck

Assembler at Imeco

Hi my name is Gerald and I been out of work since Nov. 1st and I put in apps. to many places. I had 2 interviews and both say the loved my resume but decided to go a different route. To me I think it's because of my age and also maybe cause I am overweight. I know they shouldn't be looking at me that way but that's what I got out of it. The last interview I had the guy didn't even seem interested from the start. I was asking him questions about their pay and weather health insurance was included just for him to look at me as if I was crazy. This job interview was set up by a temp service that unemployment helped with. Neither of them said it was a full time or part time. Come to find out it was only for 2 weeks. Why would anyone be job hunting for a job to last 2 weeks and then have to do it all over again. I am 59 and I have 20+ years experience working in a warehouse forklift driving with my certificate still valid. But with help to update my resume I was told not to state that I been forklift driving for 20+ years to drop it to 10+ years. If they want to know how long then let them know only if they ask. I got a call two days ago to send my resume to this address for a job in my area. I did and the woman loved it. She then called me again yesterday asking me if I knew anyone looking for a job because they have 2 other positions opened. My response was " I am looking for a job for myself so if I find others to apply for the job I be out of one". Her response was no my resume is great and I be getting a call next week for my interview that they need 2 more besides myself. Guess I just have to wait and see. Once they see me and read my resume fully they will change their mind since I am 59. They can't tell you that they can't hire due to age since that is discrimination but that is what it looks like to me. They all say they love my resume and how long I stayed at a job. I never quit a job I was always let go for lack of work. I was let go after 16 years of working for this one company for missing too many days due to medical reasons which they knew I had since it happened at their work place. Even with doctors notes they still fire me. I never took any time off not even vacation time but still got fired and I was denied unemployment. If I ever get another job I hope they offer FMLA so if I get sick or have another family reason to have time off or hurt on the job they can't fire me. I wish everyone good luck in job searching. Please pray for me as I will pray for all you too. Sorry for the long sad story.

Exactly Kristine, as long as you put your mind to it and have nothing but FAITH, you can achieve anything in this world.
