
Production clerk
Legal help would be fantastic right now. On 6/9 I was called into a meeting, with my boss (accounting manager), production manager and HR. I was written up for 6 different things (in one day) I would say "5 out of the 6 things were out of my control." I have emails to vouch for these issues. The HR lady has been after me since June 22 2016. Now a year later she has gathered all sorts of things to pin on me "in one day". I am now on a 30 day PIP. With this company a 30 day PIP means you will or are out the door. They wrote me up on June 9, the day my vacation started, I am supposed to return on June 20. We have physical inventory one June 24. With me not being at work for 6 working days....It will take more than 4 days to fix everything. Lastly, one of my write ups was for excessive overtime. Needless to say, I will have to work a lot of overtime in order to fix everything that I have to fix just being off 1 day, not 4 days! What kind of advice can anyone give me?? I don't need to lose my job meaning I don't need to quit either... However, during the meeting (at the beginning) I was told by my manager, "he didn't want to hear it when I said I can explain why I sent the plant manager a text (calling in).....PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Sounds like you have been backed up in a corner. I would suggest that out of the three to find the one who is most understanding to explain what is going on. Also work out an agreement.
