INTERVIEWS: (No. #3. Mistakes To Avoid) Appearance. *Sandals
READ THIS PLEASE! (Small things can make a big difference.)
We are living in a time filled with much "exaggeration" and everything becomes possible beyond your wildest dreams and imagination!
I've been very fortunate to have been the Chairperson on many interviewing panels and still today, I'm always amazed at what I see. If you think that on a hot and sunny beautiful day, that someone won't walk-in and surprise you. Think again! Because it happens with both men and women!
Afterwards, I always ask the board members to "please don't hold it against the individual 100% because mostly likely, someone failed to train them accordingly.
TURNKEY: Become fully aware of what types of "footwear" may seem appropriate for your interview. By all means use good judgment. You only get one chance to make a good impression.
I Believe You Can...!

As stated they were never taught what is appropriate to wear to an interview regardless to the weather.
I went to a job fair recently and felt totally overdressed. I had on dress slacks,a nice shell and a cardigan with dress shoes and hose. Everyone else has o sundresses, capris, jeans, sleeveless tops, sandals and sneakers. Was I overdressed or were they under dressed? What are the new rules for job fairs and interviews?
