Lyft Driver at Lyft

Scared of Corona and got out of my car!!!!

I drive for Lyft and I have been SO busy! I feel like everyone is freaking out because everyone is so nervous with the virus. No one is taking the trains lately.

So I have really, really, really BAD allergies and I couldn't stop sneezing during one of my rides and my fare asked me to stop so she could get out. We still had about 15 minutes left on her trip. She said she didn't want to get sick and that I wasn't getting a tip!

What is wrong with everyone?!

You get tested and show people your results is the fastest way for your ALLERGIES to be non-threatening. Otherwise, since people are DYING, you can't blame them. Think about it. Blessings, Donna

Then again, & this isn't a slam toward you, it isn't a whole lot of fun to be in a 6x6x4 enclosed space with a person in the throes of sneezing fit. There's a sickly-sweet odor in the air immediately after after even one sneeze, caused by the microscopic droplets of saliva & bronchial fluid suspended in the air. I personally find it abhorrent. Wasn't your fault, of course, but try to see her side of it. She certainly could've been a bit less rude to you about it, though. That was NOT cool.

The problem is people are just stupid and believe everything they see in hear. The media has been fear mongering through propaganda for ages. Somehow everyone forgot influenza will likely kill you first.

Post a sign in your car about having allergies and for people. Might even add a part about people drowning themselves in perfume/cologne.

Don't know what to say really. The only recommendation I have is to explain to the customer of your allergies . Perhaps this will help. Please keep your chin up

Isobel, people generally suck. I mean this with all my heart. they think only of themselves, show no compassion to you who may have been allergic to the cheap cologne or perfume they were wearing. moving forward make them sit in the back and use the child lok feature, so you have to le them out ofter they pay and leave a tip. take control of your business, and you will be much happier. when they sa I can't open my door, you say when you pay me and tip me I'll let you our, then point at the camera pointing at them (fake of course).

What did u expect? U should not be driving ppl until u get your allergies under control. Wearing a mask would not help either. I would not get into your car with you sneezing or wearing a mask. It's called common sense. No one knows what you have & everyone is responsible for taking care of their own health.

The customer was right to be of concern but should have given you a tip. Try to get the sneezing under control or let the customer know ahead of time.
