After years of experience in the electrical, mechanical field. It finally paid off, I was hired by Fanuc robotics as a field service engineer. I'm 48 years old and able to do many things that other people my age cannot do. I thank the Lord for the abilities he has given me. I should have been a car salesman.

Congratulations , age is just a number if you take care of yourself and continue learning. Experience is a gift , employers should learn this because if they do the age discrimination thing they may lose what I call a rockstar that could make them a better operation.
