To me A job is taking pride in what ever job i was giving an did it well yes i needed a paycheck who don't it never was just about getting a check but taking pride in the job that freely giving to me so it would be an honor to be part of your team

That's a great perspective Yoneet- thank you for sharing it with the community! I think employers want to build trust between themselves and their employees, and using your approach to think about work helps people to build that trust. Not every job has to be the perfect job, but taking pride in our work is part of taking pride in ourselves.
