I've heard it said people leave good jobs. I thought it wouldn't happen to me until I accepted a position of comfort and pay. Work was super easy and after a few hours of delivery I got paid for reading books. Problem? The people training me were corrupt. Paranoid of my purpose or position as a floater, I was met with disdain at every facility I visited. Misinformation, attacks on my character, and flat out challenges to my skill to scrap put me in the most hostile work environment ever. But in elevators and hallways and such, I would call the threats out just to see if I had to really go in to prove myself "real" enough to work with a group of crooked slackers. I decided to walk away from all that negative energy. My dream job turned into a horror lasting all of TWO WEEKS. I woke up and walked away from... Post Office. Be careful.
