I had been an electrician for over 10 years and the Continuing Education Provider, not only was late getting my paperwork in, but he charged me twice. I reached out to Austin to get it worked out, and they tell me I have to take the test over again! It was hard enough to pass the first time. Now they have made it so hard to even get in the field with this no felons can obtain any kind of license. My life went to making a good living to doing anything too make a dollar. Are there no other alternatives?

Work with Austin so you don't have to pay twice. Give copy of receipt or check to them. Retain any receipt or check you use to pay for testing for 2 years. Retain the receipt copy of a money order with the testing receipt, also. Clear any legal problems before you submit an application. Be sure you have those items cleared before you submit an application and/or money.
Just slow down, and with proper documentation, you can meet all the requirements put in front of you. Work with a state counselor to insure they have all of your paperwork. Indicate you met all the deadlines, but the State didn't give you proper credit for submitting needed paperwork and monies.

They are company that are felon friendly check out the list b4 you go bzerk.

Hi Jimmie, I am so sorry that happened. I am not an electrician, but I would suggest to keep contacting them. Ask for that person's manager and make sure things get settled! Do you have a copy of the results from the first exam? Is their an expiration on the results? I had a lot of issues with teaching certifications before so I feel your pain on this! I am sure the test is expensive too. Make sure to contact everyone and anyone you can. If you don't have a copy of your results you can request them! Good luck Jimmie.
