How does Walmart hire applicants?

I’ve applied online for a job at Walmart about 3 times but never got a response. They advertise plenty of jobs but it’s impossible to get hired.

The best way to apply is in store, always list part time, now is the best time as they are getting ready to open garden centers and getting ready for summer. If you have no phone, leave email or someone they can contact to get message to you. Most employee's are working 32 hours a week, but over time is available.

H Assistant Store Manager at Bryan Okeefe

so once you have done the application you have to an assessment, this will come back in three areas green hire, yellow cution and, red no hire. now they must go through all of the green applicants first. And then they may go into the yellow. All applications must be done on line they will not accept a paper application at the store. If you lose the PIN for your on line you need to go to the HR. manager and they can pull it up. Calling the store is a good Idea, but when i worked there it was better to talk to an assistant manger they are the ones who will be hiring you in most stores.
